Re:What are you riding???? 11 Months, 4 Weeks ago
Hi twxyz youve made a couple of points here.I think that in a very short time 30" is going to be a pain and 28" would be better, seems small but you will see.W e dont ride ships at least I dont.
Secondly epoxy might be a problem for you but at least unlike the pu board you prbably wont ever need to repair it.
And thirdly I know Mctavish shapes good surfboards but as the guys who know say , its not a wise move to use a shaper who doesnt SUP.These boards have evolved and are definitely not just big surfboards anymore. The boards that relatives of tandem boards have long been left behind. You obviously use the net so type in stand up paddle into Google and you will see yourself.Dont listen to surfboard shapers.
Cheers.

Re:What are you riding???? 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago
hi just purchased a naish 11'6 had my first run on it today and i was very impressed the only time i fell in was when i was getting hot and needed to cool down. I found it to be a very stable board that glides along the water nicely and since i live a few hours away from surf this suits me perfectly. ok thats enough from me just needed to share the stoke now that i know what its like. cheers have fun.

Being only a short bloke, 5'6 @ 65kgs I was stoked to see C4 release the 9'0 and it didn't take long to get my hands on one. I have ridden lots of different boards in my time and my impressions of this board is basically a shortboard on steriods! Its the length of a standard mal but surfs like a shortboard. Being around lots of beachbreaks this board will come in handy. Oh yeah, did I mention its fits in the back of my car too!

Good looking board, should suite your size well. What was your last ride.
Not much swell around this weekend, scored some small waves at Catho both days. The Laird 11' came in handy.Gave a couple of mal riders a go and lo and behold both are keen to buy boards.
Cheers mate.

Hi there snappy!

Surfed Redhead today and waves were ok, seemed to be bigger on the incoming tide.
If your mates are keen for a board let me know as I have a couple of Lairds in stock now. There will be an ad in this sat herald with my details.

See ya around
