Stand Up Paddle Surfing

The 2008 Noosa Festival of Surfing, under the new management of USM Events, will include a major Stand Up Paddle Surfing event. Spokesman for the festival, Phil Jarratt, confirmed that the SUPS comp, which made its Noosa debut at the 2007 festival, will be back bigger and better in 2008.
“The SUPS event and workshop was a resounding success this year, and it fits so well with the waterman direction of the festival that we’ll be looking to develop it even more in 2008,” Phil said.
The Noosa Festival of Surfing will be held March 3 to 9, 2008.
